1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing cap-kenya.co.ke, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and registered members.

2. Eligibility
Membership registration through this portal is strictly limited to:
  • Kenyan citizens of sound mind.
  • Persons aged 18 years and above.
  • Persons not belonging to another political party (to avoid double-registration as per Kenyan law).

3. Intellectual Property Rights
  • Ownership: The CAP-K name, logo (sweeping brush), slogans, and manifesto are the exclusive property of the Clean Alliance Party of Kenya.
  • Usage: You may download party materials for personal advocacy and information. You may not use CAP-K branding for unauthorized commercial products or to misrepresent party positions.

4. Prohibited User Conduct
Users of this website are strictly prohibited from:
  • Hate Speech: Posting content that incites ethnic, religious, or political violence.
  • Cyber-attacks: Attempting to hack the membership database or disrupt site services.
  • Impersonation: Falsely claiming to be a CAP-K official or candidate.
  • Misinformation: Using the platform to spread “fake news” regarding the electoral process.

5. User-Generated Content
If you contribute to forums or comment sections:
  • You grant CAP-K a non-exclusive license to use and share your comments.
  • CAP-K reserves the right to remove any content deemed offensive, defamatory, or contrary to the party’s “Clean Governance” values.

6. Donation and Refund Policy
  • Donations are voluntary and used for party activities.
  • Under the Election Campaign Financing Act, we may be required to disclose large donations to the IEBC.
  • Donations are generally non-refundable once processed.

7. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for 100% accuracy, CAP-K is not liable for errors in content or temporary site downtime. We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from our pages.

8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the member portal if you violate these terms or the CAP-K Code of Conduct.

9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the Laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be settled through the Political Parties Dispute Tribunal or the Kenyan courts.
